1 x water point - route markings, no checkpoints

Race format - Solo - no teams

Bunch Start 8AM Saturday 4 June

Emergency and race support will be withdrawn at 18:00 Saturday

The GPX file will be sent via email leading up to race day

There will be podiums and prizes for top 3 men and women.


We encourage all participants to treat The GALLOWS as a self-supported race/ride and entry is at your own risk. There will be one aid station and route markings. 

However, the safety & well-being of our riders are a priority. There will be a medical support vehicle & ambulance en route in case of emergencies. Please be sure to save the necessary emergency contact numbers provided via email & at registration.

  • Fully charged front & rear bicycle lights - weather dependant
  • Helmet
  • Waterproof jacket (TBC leading up to race day)
  • Windbreaker
  • Buff
  • Gloves
  • Fully charged phone with saved emergency contacts (to conserve battery, leave phone in ‘Flight mode’)
  • Food, Nutrition & Hydration
  • Hydration - minimum 1L capacity (bottles or bladder or both)
  • Race Number (mounted on seatpost)
  • GPS device for route navigation & time tracking for race leaderboard

ACCOMODATION

Accommodation not included. We recommend staying at Heavens View Mountain Resort. They are based halfway up the final climb and are situated 4km from both start and finish. This will be the location of both the briefing the night before and the after party, post race.
