ABOUT

Fractals are an Indie Folk / Indie Rock trio from Cape Town, South Africa. The band came about through sheer friendship and a mutual love for making noise in harmony

.music is recorded and produced by JonathanSimons and distributed through his independent label, Mountainside Records.

Jonathan Simons is thefounder, front man, songwriter, vocalist, rhythm guitarist and producer. Ray Morgan is the drummer and backing vocalist, with a BMUS Undergraduatefrom UCT specialising in JazzPerformance. Stephen de Souza is the bassist and backing vocalist, with a BMUS Undergraduate from UCT specialising in Jazz Performance.

Each member brings a unique sense of creativity to every song. Witnessing a performance by Fractals is a truly emotional journey,guaranteed to lead those in the audience who truly listens to cry, laugh, and dance their hearts out. Even in between songs the band are able to entertain the audience with witty,punny, tasteful humour.There is neve radull moment with this passionately musical group.
