Neil Young Tribute at The Daisy Jones

Akkedis have been performing 'Harvest - A Tribute to Neil Young' show to sold out audiences across South Africa and now they are bringing it to one of the best venues in the country. Join us at The Daisy Jones bar in Stellenbosch on 29 April for a night filled with renditions of their favourite Young tunes.

No other musical act has influenced Akkedis as much as Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young and each performance of the classic rock trio from Somerset West contains at least three renditions of Young's well-known (and lesser known) hits, like 'Old Man', 'Down by the River' and 'Harvest Moon'.

To do a full set, covering their idol's work, is like a dream come true for twins Arthur and Rudi Dennis and bassist Adrian John Graham. "It's always a privilege for us to interpret his songs," said Arthur. "It brings back many memories of our youth. Young was our first and single greatest influence."
