Now you no longer need to feel FOMO for not living in Cape Town (not that you did anyhow, Jozi, we know it's far cooler here!) because Online Tuesday South Africa, the event that took the Tuesday social calendar by storm last year in the Mother City, is now launching in Johannesburg! Originally a successful event in Amsterdam; created by the DQ&A team in the Netherlands back in 2009, and now vastly recognised as the biggest event of its kind in Europe, we took the idea to Cape Town in 2015, with 5 successful events now under our belts; we are proud to be expanding into Johannesburg in 2016 - and hope to make it a regular fixture in Jozi’s diary too!
Organised by its founding partners DQ&A Media Group and Initiate International; each event we’ll have local or international speakers covering interesting topics about the online digital space and trends in South Africa, as well as globally. The audience will be encouraged to engage in the discussions as well as network with each other. To ensure that the audience is kept entertained, we’ll have the South African comedian du jour, Schalk Bezuidenhout, a Kempton Park boy (yes, that's technically still Jozi) so the MC will really connect with you! And of course, there’ll be some cool sponsors, an open bar to lubricate the evening, alongside live tweeting and some awesome freebies and prizes, just to make this schweeeeeeet deal even sweeter! Could Tuesday’s get any better?
