UKUTYA CLUB EXPERIENCE is a curated African indigenous 3 course plated meal served at a long table, showcasing seasonal, foraged and wild foods.
We promote ongoing consumption of indigenous, seasonal and real foods. We hope to inspire you to be a mindful eater by understanding where your food comes from.
Serving you a welcome drink by Swartland Winery and an authentic 3 course plated meal; using an Ethiopian indigenous grain, uKwindla/ Autumn seasonal crops and foraged wild herbs.
UKUTYA CLUB EXPERIENCE started in 2017 as an intimate food experience and since inception, we continue to grow to be a community of people from all over the world, who gather and share food stories on the table.

uKwindla (Autumn) Menu
Starter - Isonka seThanga naMabele, Matemba/ Lake Tanganyika sardine , iOkra neZiqhamo zexesha lonyaka (chutney),
Mains - INJERA Teff Ethiopian flatbread (Our inspiration) ;Intyabontyi (indigenous wild melon), Intlanzi yaselwandle (curry), uMfino wehlaba nerhawu (seasonal foraged greens), Pickled konofile and onion, smoked Amasi cheese
Dessert - Amahlungulu kathathu (Nom Nom cake, syrup and dust)
