Mama's Boy by Mmangaliso Mhlongo

Mmangaliso Mhlongo is a stand up comedian that started his career 6 years ago. He started of by winning best newcomer comedian in the Comediology competition hosted by Shannon Rice. He then continued to shine when he MC’ed for well known comedian Barry Hilton who is famous for his Savanna adverts. He then toured with Simphiwe Shembe and Siyanda Maphumulo hosting their one man shows individually. He then toured with Skhumba Hlophe and has numerous appearances on Trippin with Skhumba which aired on Mzansi Magic. He was also on the famous comedy series called Mzansi Comedy Nights which airs on Mzansi Magic. His ability to perform in both Vernac and English has allowed him to perform on so many different platforms around the country he even recently did his one man show titled “Mamas Boy” which started in Mtubatuba,then Empangeni,then Durban,then Port Shepstone and then Cape Town. He has shared the stage with Carvin Goldstone,Trevor Gumbi,Celeste Ntuli,Sifiso Nene,Jem Atkins,Robbie Collins the list is endless. He prides himself with being able to interview international comedians like Mario Tory,Michael Colyar,Kelly Kellz,Kareem Green etc on his online show titled Lockdown Life Lessons which can be found on his Instagram page. Mmangaliso Mhlongo is a comedian definitely worth seeing on stage.
