Directions:
St Cathryns can be approached either from R74 from Stanger or Greytown, or on the R33 from Pietermaritzburg or Dundee. For those approaching from Pietermaritzburg ( the Mizpah short–cut allows one to avoid the extra distance entailed by going through Greytown. Look out for the turn–off when you see the huge grain silos to the East of the R33).
The Mizpah Road is a good tar road, joining the R74 from Greytown at Welgegund petrol station, where you turn right towards Ahrens and Kranskop. The St Cathryns turn-off is clearly signposted.

Prizes: Plenty of lucky draw prizes.
Track: The main track consists of 50km of off-road terrain ranging from open forestry roads, single track, river crossings, hill climbs, and scenic viewpoints. It caters to accomplished riders and has several challenging parts. An accomplished rider should take around 2 1/2 hours to complete the track. A GPS is required to complete this track or riders should be in a group where a device is present
Many beginner riders do the 40km route as this route can be completed by riders of all abilities should take about 2 hours to complete. It shares parts of the route with the 50km track.
General: The Hermannsburg Funduro is set in the rolling hills and valleys around St Cathryns Golf Estate and will be used to raise funds for Umvoti Community G911, Hermannsburg School, and the Kranskop Farmers Association
