Absolutely "Dekadent" High Tea!

Enjoy a magical afternoon of fabulous company and tantalising delights! A glass of bubbly is included, wine available by donation.

Historically, High Tea has been a social occasion to catch up with family and friends. Serving substantive fare, over the top, exquisite delicacies served to the upper class offered in the late afternoon. The customary attire is semi-formal, often sporting hats, gloves and brightly coloured dresses & collared shirts for the gents. Black is never appropriate for a tea party! Gloves should be removed before the tea service begins. Never start eating until everyone has been served, unless instructed by the host. A napkin, not a serviette, is folded along the diagonal and placed on your lap. One should avoid picking items from the tower with your fingers, only use servers if provided. The proper way to hold your tea cup is to pinch the handle between your thumb and index finger. DO NOT hold your pinky out as It is considered rude. The main guideline is “keep it classy.”
