Stellenbosch University Choir: Friends & Family Concert

The Stellenbosch University Choir is one of the oldest and most celebrated choirs in South Africa. It is comprised of students from various academic and cultural backgrounds who together create an intoxicating energy in performance. Under the leadership and direction of André van der Merwe the choir has achieved worldwide acclaim. The SU Choir has been acknowledged as one of South Africa’s most outstanding youth development and choral programmes that reflects the changes of our wider society. Today it stands as a testament to the power of music to bring about diversity and harmony across societal divide.
