Helderberg International School: Primary School Camp - Soetwater Environmental Education Centre (Yr 4, 5, 6 and 7)

It is almost Camp time! An opportunity for the learners to experience the excitement of the outdoors, the camp is a great time for interaction and team building among the learners. The Year 4, 5, 6 and 7 students will attend a nature camp, Soetwater Environmental Education Centre, located in Kommetjie, Camp Town. It is about 57km from Somerset West. These camps have been very successful in the past and students are always excited and enthusiastic for this yearly experience, which happens to be one of the highlights of the year.

Campers will be on camp from Tuesday, 12th to Thursday, 14th April 2022. There will be important information emailed to you so that you can plan, prepare and organise well in advance. The fee of the camp is R1 700 per a child. This includes all meals, camp rates, transport and the interesting programme run by the organisers.

Soetwater Environmental Education Centre is a vital component of the Year 4, 5, 6 & 7 curriculum and outdoor education. It promises loads of fun – memorable and exciting experiences which the students are sure to cherish for many years to come.
