ABOUT
Welcome to the 9th edition of the Namaqualand Flower Festival!
WHEN: 2 - 4 September 2016
Join us for some fun in the spring sun. The Namaqua Flower Fest is for the young and adventurous at heart.
One weekend filled with flowers, camping, dancing, running, singing, gazing and laughing.
Saturday morning offers 2 distance trails available for adventurous runners - a challenging 21km and a scenic 9km trail.
Together with this beautiful run, there are plenty other activities to look forward to. Star gazing, live music, an open mic evening, an educational flower and bush walk, sunise yoga, and an EPIC special surprise this year from the No Danger Diaries Crew.
This event is all about experiencing the outdoors and enjoying in the flowers dotted around the countryside, all while mixing with like-minded people.
** Please note: There are LIMITED ENTIRES available for both routes.
All Entries include:- The trail run
- All weekend activities
- Lunch on the Saturday
- Camping for the Friday and the Saturday night
- Free Namaqua wine after the event
- Band and music and a cash bar on the Saturday night
The Glamping option has been included this year for those wanting a bit of comfort. This includes -
- A tent provided for you and set up on your arrival
- Glamping area is up in a private area above the rest of the camping
- Glamping kitchenette area with stove and kettle provided
- Entry includes the run
- Lunch on the Saturday
- All the weekend activities
** Please note: Any ticket / entry substitutions will be charged at a fee of R100 and need to happen before Tuesday the 23rd of August.
