Dear Son Book

About

The ever-rising number of boys with absent fathers and no male role models is cause for concern. We applaud women who have raised their boys to be respectful men of society. However, we cannot ignore the plight of many young men who yearn for fatherly attention and male role models. A neglected boy child often becomes a bigger danger to society, overwhelmed by anger they end up being homeless, in prison, addicted to drugs and even at high risk for premature death. We exist to engage young men, their mothers and fathers to find solutions and create an environment that enables boys to thrive.

In this regard The 100 Advices Movement successfully challenged men from all walks of life to adopt the African Proverb that " it takes a village to raise a child" and therefore have contributed letters of advice which are compiled in to a book.

We now humbly seek support and collaboration of the society as a whole to print and distribute as many copies as possible. we will then distribute them in schools, rehabilitation centers, in communities as well as through our mothers and sons workshops.

So dear society we are all we have, and we need each other more than before for our sons.
