Qigong exercises consist of a series of practices including body postures, movements, stretches and breathing practice,  all designed to enhance Qi (“energy”) function and optimise and balance energy within through attaining deeply focused and relaxed states.


Qigong's gentle movements help to move blood and oxygen around the body, nourishing the organs and tissues promoting healing. In addition, due to the connection of the mind to the breath and physical movements, qigong helps to calm the mind, relieving emotional stress and mental anxiety.


Qigong originated in China about 4,000 years ago. It is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles, which state that Qi, or energy, is present in everyone’s body and should move freely without any blockages.

 

Join us for a workshop at the peaceful venue of the Reunion and learn about the background of Qigong and the connection of movement and health. We will practice internal and very relaxing Qigong forms, but also external and revitalising Qigong moves and stretches. Let go of stress, worries and anger and boost your inner strength and immune system.

 

All ages and fitness levels are welcome. No specific experience is required.

 

Just wear loose and comfortable clothes.
