Run, hike and dress like a leopard! ?? Join Walk for the Wild at Delheim Wine Estate and experience a spectacular 10 km mountain trail while supporting the Cape Leopard Trust and the Greater Simonsberg Conservancy. A fun outdoor adventure helping protect leopards and their fragile habitat.

Walk for the Wild – Delheim Wine Estate

Join us on 9 May 2026 for the inaugural Walk for the Wild, a unique trail experience on the slopes of Delheim Wine Estate supporting the conservation work of the Cape Leopard Trust and the Greater Simonsberg Conservancy.

By participating, you’ll help raise awareness and support conservation efforts that protect leopards and their fragile mountain habitat, helping ensure these magnificent animals continue to roam our mountains for generations to come.

Enjoy a scenic 10 km hike or trail run along Delheim’s Leopard Trail, with sweeping views over the Stellenbosch valley and the landscapes these elusive predators call home.

Join the Dress-Up Fun ??

Come dressed in your best leopard outfit for a chance to win the Best Dressed Leopard Prize.

To enter:

1. Take a photo of your full leopard outfit on the trail
2. Post it on Instagram
3. Tag Delheim, Greater Simonsberg Conservancy, and the Cape Leopard Trust

Winners will be announced on Delheim’s official platforms.

• Date: 9 May 2026
• Distance: 10 km
• Trail runners start: 08:00 sharp
• Hikers: Rolling start from 08:00 – 10:00
• Best dressed entry closes: 09:00

Participants are welcome to hike at their own pace. Please note runners must start at 08:00.

Your Ticket Includes

• A Delheim wine tasting
• A donation to the Cape Leopard Trust
• A contribution to ongoing conservation efforts
• Access to Delheim’s Leopard 10 km trail, one of the most scenic routes on the estate

After your hike, you’re welcome to visit the Delheim Garden Restaurant or Tasting Room (bookings recommended).
