Introduction

Picture this: It's cold and rainy outside, but inside we've got a warm ropey wonderland set up. You can smell the sea and hear the waves crashing as you're indulging in some delicious rope play. For the brave, you are welcome to join our host for a free-diving ocean forage. We’ll be cooking up delish vegetarian (mostly) foraged meals and taking it super easy. 

Join us for an indulgent weekend rope retreat in De Kelders 17,18 and 19 June. You are also welcome to come up on the 16th to get settled in. If you would like to lift club, please whatsapp Astrid 0828067590

This retreat is suitable for absolute newbies or experienced ropey folks who would like the space to indulge in sensual rope play. It’s invite only, so please don’t forward this link on to anyone without checking in with us first. 

Outline 

Friday Night Potluck:

• We will provide soups and bread

Saturday Intensive:

• Coffee and rusks 
• Rope for intimate play
• Moving the body and the mind in ropes
• Sensual and seductive positions in rope 
• Morning session:
• Intention setting
• Breathing together 
• Moving the body
• Quality of touch 
• Basic ties 
• Brunch 
• Afternoon session:
• Adding rope to the body
• Changing positions when rope is applied
• Intentional untying 
• Dinner: 
• Foraged mushroom pasta

Sunday morning:

• Breakfast and decompression 
• Checkout 12PM 

Additional information

• Please bring potluck items for Friday night, your own drinks (no excessive alcohol consumption will be tolerated) and additional snacks for yourselves.

About your educators

Astrid (@desirelinesbondage) has been co-creating spaces for learning the ropes in Cape Town since 2016. She is a technically rigorous rope top who brings a wholesome, empathic flavour to her teaching. In 2021, she opened Embodiment Rope Space as a safe(r) venue for interested souls to explore the medium of rope.
