It's time to pay tribute to the Godfathers.

Lightning Productions proudly brings you a night of sledgehammer old school rock n' roll to honour one of the pioneers - the mighty gods that are Black Sabbath. For one night we will unleash the beast at the amazing Daisy Jones Bar in the heart of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands.

Sabbath's influence is undeniable and stretches far into the roots of heavy modern music...from Metallica, Lamb of God, Rage Against the Machine, Wolfmother, Queens of the Stone Age and even as far as the Foo Fighters. Their sonic footprint is found everywhere. Whether it was the heavy hitting power of Toni Lommi's riffs, the thunderous bottom end of Geezer Butler's bass or the wild raunchy and intense trashing drums of Bill Ward, they created a unmistakable sound and forged a new genre in modern music. 

For one special night only, we bring you the power and majesty of Sabbath in all it's glory. Lighting Productions have put together a band of misfits to capture the essence of Ozzy, Toni, Geezer and Bill's magic. 

On vocals we have the mighty Stiaan Bruwer (black pistol), on the guitars we have roan mustang (Black Pistol) and Basson Laubscher (BL&TVFP) filling out the big boots. The rhythm section is down to Johan Willemse (Jan Blom, Ryno Velvet) and Daniel Louw (Black Pistol) to make the thunder for the lighting.
