Oudebosch Forest Trail (Kogelberg)
Sun Feb 27, 08:45 - Sun Feb 27, 13:15
Kogelberg Nature Reserve (Oudebosch) at the Reception Parking Area
ABOUT
The Kogelberg Mountain complex is one of the true jewels of the Western Cape and it is a wonderful range to explore in all seasons. Surrounded by steep mountains we walk through magnificent fynbos and into the tranquil pocket of Afromontane Forest known as Oudebos. Yellowwoods, Witels, Cape Holly and Hard Pear form the canopy among many other indigenous trees. Once at top we'll get a glimpse over Betty's Bay before retracing our steps. Upon completion of the trail we'll head down to the Palmiet River to enjoy a lovely swim on this mid-summers day.
This one is for the whole family, fynbos enthusiasts or anyone looking for a lovely half day out in pristine mountains with many little floral delights.
