ABOUT DR EMMANUEL IMEVBORE
Dr. Emmanuel Imevbore is an entrepreneur, business owner, management consultant, business coach and trainer. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the CEED Group, which he co-founded in South Africa in 2001 with three other partners. The Company started off as a small consultancy firm that positioned itself to promote trade and investment activities between South Africa and Nigeria.
The CEED Group now has interests in management consulting; training and coaching; entrepreneurship and business growth solutions; project finance; publishing; and property management. The organisation has also established active operational networks in several countries within and outside Africa.
Apart from providing strategic direction for the CEED Group, Dr Imevbore also serves on the board of some other companies in South Africa and Nigeria. The value that Dr Imevbore adds to organisations derives from his business development and corporate strategy planning skills, which have been deployed in both the private and public sectors of several African countries.
Dr. Imevbore is well regarded as a business, organisational and leadership coach, whose passion remains the creation of sustainable wealth in Africa through the integration of her vast resources. He thus facilitates workshops, seminars and short training courses on business development and corporate management, as well as leadership and executive coaching using practical training and coaching tools that unlock potentials and enhance people and organisational performance. He is also the convener of the International Association of Coach-Leaders and Mentors.
He has at various times been a university lecturer and researcher, as well as consultant and adviser to private and public sector operators especially in South Africa and Nigeria. He has since 1999 been involved with facilitating trade and investments across African countries, especially as the Coordinator of Nigerian-South African Business Initiative (NISAB), which operated as the private sector engine for the Nigerian-South African Bi-National Commission and the African Business Roundtable, leading specifically to the processes that paved the way for the entry of MTN and other major South African companies to Nigeria from 2001.
His passion for entrepreneurship development and small business growth has inspired the creation of the Business Intelligence Network (BIN) and the CEED Entrepreneurship School (CES) to build the management capacity of small business owners and managers in Africa. He is the author of several business books. The most notable among these are: Business Intelligence; Ten Major Problems that Cripple Businesses; Going for Gold; Turning Talents to Treasures; Leadership Lessons; The Truth about Wealth Creation, among others. Dr. Imevbore resides in Johannesburg, South Africa with his wife and two sons.
