Afrikan Time has always sought to tap into natural route spaces in search of isandi sarona rhythm & sounds ((H)our Sounds). At this Point in Time: Voices in Volumes will be our departure point for this concert. We will also be paging through other times in Afrikan Time: past & future books of the music. On the bandstand are incredible musicians, much of whose unique Voices in Volumes echo through the pages of the Afrikan Time music book. For the first concert of the year in Johannesburg, I am looking forward to what will be a voyage in the spaceship of freedom to the much longed for Artists' Island.
