A Coloured-in Girl: poetry and song launch

This is the official music and book launch of the first development writing project “A Coloured-in Girl: poetry and song” in Gqeberha.

15 Coloured young women have undergone creative writing sessions to produce their original music and poetry.

Explored themes included the journey of womanhood, the experience of being a coloured, loss of a loved one, love relationships, the importance of mental health and self- care.

The talent take the to stage at the Savoy Theatre on the 26 FEB reciting their poetry and singing their songs.

The illustrated Book is Titled" The Heart of a Coloured-in Girl: Poetry, Song and Short Stories

Books will be available on the day at R150. Pre-Order available via Quicket at R100.
