Myburgh's Waterfall Ravine & Judas Peak

Sun Jan 30, 06:30 - Sun Jan 30, 13:30

ABOUT

This hike has space for 1 x person! Please contact us ([email protected]) if you'd like to still see Red Disas this summer.

Our aim is to see Disa uniflora (Red Disa) blooming in the ravine! We hike a circular route via Myburgh's Waterfall Ravine to the summit of Judas Peak on the southern end of the 12 Apostles range which is famed for the amazing vistas across Table Mountain, of both Lion's Head and Little Lion's Head and of course, Hout Bay.

The hike involves some steep, rugged and loose terrain with the addition of some technical rock scrambles so be sure you have good balance and an ‘OK’ head for heights. There are two sections which involve the use of steel staples which aid the rock scrambling.
