In a world of illusions and where things don't always seem the way they are, four young men from the tip of Africa have come together to put pure, palpable, unadulterated emotion into sound.
Dope Folks is a 4-piece rock 'n roll outfit from the City of Cape Town. Their influences include a blend of Surf Rock, Folk, and Punk - welded together by emotive lyricism and punchy choruses. The goal is not just to put on a show, but to take you on an energetic journey of optimistic nihilism through sound and storytelling.
