Welcome to the Second Edition of Dam Jam, hosted in the oasis of Tegwaan Country Getaway, cradled in the beautiful mountains of Emgwenya. Another event packed weekend opening up with a free welcoming drumming circle around a bonfire. Saturday is the event, featuring some of SA's most talented artists performing live, local art exhibition, fishing competition, walkthrough performers, entertainment for the kiddies, delicious vegan-friendly food and local handcrafted products at the market, and plenty more.. Closing off the weekend experience with yoga, meditation or just kicking back and enjoying the facilities Tegwaan has to offer such as hiking trails, fishing, swimming, and climbing
Camping pass allows access to all the weekends activities as well as camping facilities (grounds, water and ablutions) for the Friday and Saturday night (2 nights)
Weekend Day pass ticket gives you access to the activities that will take place on the Saturday which include two stages of live music, various stalls, fishing competition, lots of great activities for kids, art exhibition and more surprises and the activities that will be taking place on the Friday and Sunday.

Dam Jam aims to be a family friendly event where everyone can have a good time so kids under the age of 12 get in free! there will be lots of great activities for them. Although we are accepting of children at our event, we do not advertise this as a children's event. We will not be held responsible for the safety and or indemnity of any children attending the event. Strict measures will be taken if any person is caught drinking under the age of 18.
Dam Jam will ensure all rules and regulations as per Covid-19 will be adhered to, including curfew, capacity, the current state of the pandemic, etc. Vaccinations are not a requirement for this event although all follow up information will be required on entering premises. The Dam Jam event is a small festival of less than 500 people and held outdoors, therefore making it a relatively low risk event. (1) A person must wear a cloth face mask or a homemade item that covers the nose and mouth when in a public place. or another appropriate item to cover the nose and mouth
(2) No person will be allowed to enter a building, place or premises, if they do not wear a cloth face mask or a homemade item that covers the nose and mouth when in a public place, or another appropriate item to cover the nose and mouth.
The Dam Jam will provide suitable security for the event, including a strict gate duty, patrol guards, suitable lighting, colour coded arm tags, wireless communication, etc
Dam Jam is Hosted in Waterval Boven , an area with a very low crime rate and a low chance of criminal intention. With larger events like this, its sure to turn heads and we remind each event goer to be aware of the event surroundings as a collective and indivdual. We also encourage event holders to be aware and respect that there will be natural swimming waters and wild animals as it is a vibrant natural venue.
PLEASE NOTE: The Owners, Organizers and Management CANNOT be held responsible for any injury, death, loss or damage arising from any cause WHATSOEVER on the premises. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES AND PERSONAL PROPERTY. Anyone entering the Dam Jam premises, including the grounds, do so entirely at their own risk. All associated with Dam Jam shall have no liability for the negligence of ticketholders whatsoever.
Dam Jam is hosted at Tegwaan, one of the most exquisite farms that the area has to offer, breathing life and soul into everything that is this event. On the edge of Tegwaan lies Emgwenya nature reserve, home to sacred wildlife and indigenous plants. The lakes on Tegwaan are all connected, spurting from a single spring at the mouth of the mountain, forging giant trees, attracting spectacular bird life, hosting fish, frogs, monitor lizards, wild cats, monkeys and buck. Tegwaan, alone, is a tightly knit web of life that deserves to be respected during this event. Anyone caught littering or vandalizing will be forced to leave. Please respect the venue!
Although the event is hosted in a low crime area, Dam Jam will protect the safety of each person attending the event. A good security team will be surveying the area at all times.
