ALBERT FROST
For the past 2 Decades , the energetic performances of SAMA award winning Blues/Rock Guitarist Albert Frost has captured audiences Worldwide.
Dubbed the "South African Hendrix", Frost deftly alternates between Rhythm & Lead showcasing his extraordinary skills on Acoustic & Electric Guitars.
His First love is the Blues stemming from his long relationship with" The Blues Broers ", with whom he performed with since 1994 at the age of 17.
In 2000 Frost became the first South African to be endorsed by Fender. He won the "Best Rock Album" at the 2017 South African Music Awards
SCHALK JOUBERT
Schalk Joubert is one of South Africa’s most celebrated bassists, with a career spanning almost 25 years. He has won numerous awards for both individual performance and producing. He has worked with a very long list South African artists (including luminaries like David Kramer, Hugh Masakela and Anton Goosen), and has toured the globe with international stars like Michelle Shocked, as well as his own highly acclaimed group, The 3 Continents Sextet. He was also the musical director for the Crash Test Dummies on their recent South African tour. Schalk is an in-demand film soundtrack composer, and as session bassist has played on some of the highest-ever selling Afrikaans albums
MATT CARSTENS
Matt is a pop singer-songwriter from Cape Town who is making his mark on the music scene, both locally and internationally. Armed with his acoustic guitar and loop pedal, Matt skilfully delivers a lively and versatile performance of original compositions and well known covers.
Matt has shared the stage with many well-respected musicians over his career so far, playing with the likes of Majozi, Spoegwolf and Die Heuwels Fantasties. In 2017, Matt collaborated with one of the biggest acts in the South African scene, Francois van Coke.
