ABOUT

We're back!

Breaking the Closet is thrilled to be hitting the stages of Cape Town again!

After a brief venue shopping hiatus, we are back for our 4th installment, and stronger than ever before. We're reading to bring you heart-warming stories at the gorgeous Zero21 in Woodstock.

In celebration of all things Pride, Breaking the Closet is the brainchild of Eugene Mathews and Nicola Date who's aim has been to bring Capetonians together through the power of story.

No matter your orientation, Breaking the Closet is bound to make you feel, laugh, and possibly cry.

The show is hosted by writer, comedian, designer, and arts manager Nicola Date, who is thrilled to be back on stage. Stories will be told by radio journalist Saya Pierce-Jones and comedian Eugene Mathews.

The performance will take place on 8 December 2021 at 7:30 pm. Tickets cost just R50 and can be bought on www.quicket.co.za or at the door. Zero21 is located at 160 Sir Lowry Road, Buchanan Square, Foreshore, Cape Town.

All COVID protocols will be adhered to. No mask, no entry.

We looking forward to sharing this special night with you!
