Linda Strydom is a Cape Town-based artist working predominantly in acrylics on large scale canvasses with diverse subject matter. Her art is vibrant and funky. Linda studied art at high school, working in all mediums including Tempera paints, pastels, charcoal and pencil. A good few years after she left school she attended private oil painting and pottery classes. Once her children were older, she attended evening painting classes at the Frank Joubert Art School. With a few additional art courses under her belt, she continues to experiment and research different techniques. Linda now exhibits her work in various galleries in Cape Town and is regularly asked to do private and commercial commissioned works.
