Our profession is doomed. I've stopped saying that most people are trying their best

Despite the challenges of being an animal rescuer. Because the truth is, most people can't be trusted. I no longer think that the work we do matters. No one values us. I've made a terrible mistake thinking that this journey was worth it in the end. We no longer have a role to play and I've ceased to believe that all is going to be ok. We need R21 000 to pay all our dues and our account are almost depleted, I can not do this constant begging anymore, please take pity and do a small donation so that we can pay what we owe.
