Touch of Africa Live

The West Coast Youth Orchestra (WCYO) is a culturally diverse non-profit organization, that provides the opportunity to all our musicians to perform in a variety of Ensembles, Bands, and Orchestras. We also provide Music Outreach, Development, and Educational Programmes to the South African West Coast youth.

This live stream showcases the West Coast Youth Orchestra performing their Touch of Africa concert at the beautiful Koelkamers Theatre in Paternoster. This concert is supported by Concerts SA and its partners, the Norwegian Embassy, SAMRO, Samro Foundation, and IKS Cultural Consulting.

With this concert, WCYO is paying tribute to Africa with a lineup of special songs, including classics such as The Lion Sleeps Tonight and Pata-Pata-Meadowlands.
