About

Cyanotype is an alternative and historical photographic printing process that dates back to the mid 1800's. It is the process behind the term 'blueprint'. Cyanotypes are created by using light sensitive chemistry that is applied to paper before being exposed to UV light and then developed in water. Photographic negatives or found objects, such as plants, can be used to create images.

This workshop will be demonstrate the basics of how to create cyanotypes, covering how to prepare and sensitize a surface, as well as expose and develop a print.
