ABOUT
Music in the Valley presents BOTTOMLESS COFFEE BAND supported by Paige Mac and Gerry Liberty live at La Roche Estate, Franschoek.
Picture your perfect summer Sunday. Does it look something like this? You’ve got a chilled glass of the winelands’ finest in your hand, while you’re looking out at a premium view of the gorgeous Franschhoek valley from La Roche’s slice of mountainside paradise, with the sweet sounds of SA’s finest musicians in your ears. Look no further! In collaboration with MyOhMy Entertainment, La Roche is bringing you Music in the Valley, the picnic concert series set to be the highlight of your summer! With a bar stocked with a selection of the best local wines, and locally produced goodness from some our favourite chefs, all you need to bring is your sunnies and a picnic blanket. For the second concert in our series, we’re welcoming none other than multi-instrumentalist folk-rock duo Bottomless Coffee, along with our friends Paige Mac and Gerry Liberty for a mini festival beneath the Franschhoek sun. All ages welcome & entrance is free for kids younger than 4 years.
We firmly believe it’s not a party unless you’re giving back. With that in mind, we’re running a blanket drive, donated to the organisation of each headliner’s choosing. Bring a blankie to drop off at our entrance.
All food and drink sold on site. Food trucks, wine bar, ice cream and more. Bring a blanket or a chair, park off and enjoy your time with your family & friends all while tapping your feet to some good tunes.

Bottomless Coffee Band
Husband & Wife Multi-Instrumentalist Folk Rock Duo, Lourens and Esté Rabé
making songs about life, love, blues and breakfast. It’s hard to assign a genre to the music of the Bottomless Coffee Band. The style can be described as folk-pop. With foot stomping rhythms, hard hitting lyrics and hints of the dramatic, they are impressive to watch. “We like to refer to it as gourmet music… This term captures our vision as musicians: to produce music that is true to ourselves in the different stages of developing as musicians and creatives. To write lyrics and play songs that encourages good times, evokes emotion and sparks deeds of love, hope and change.” Lourens and Esté have become crowd favourites for their variety in song writing, melodic storytelling and electrifying performances, inspiring the nostalgia of the legends of yesteryear.
