Wild Food Foray and Picnic.

Pack your own picnic baskets and come walk on the wild side with edible wild plant experts Matt & Kaz Wilson and mushroom expert Jon Mac Gillivray as they guide you through the unique ecosystems of Alverstone Wildlife Park. We will ramble and have a bring and picnic halfway. Munchies and coffee however will be available from Mandala Cafe's table for those that didn't pack a basket.

Matt & Kaz have been educating people on the incredible benefits of foraging weeds and wild fruits for many years, assisting even the underprivileged in utilizing plants for health and food through the Infino Project.

Jon Mac Gillivray has been conducting public mushroom forays for 5 years and is an educator, influencer, and author in the field of mycology. He is the current president of MSOSA the Mycological Society of Southern Africa(npo). Renowned for translating the wilds into an understandable subject for people of all ages.
