Carols with the Stars

ABOUT

The well-known Bloemfontein music group Arco Musica and Pick ‘n Pay Preller Walk, invite the public to a summer's evening under the stars at Willem Postma school's sports field where beautiful music and a festive Christmas atmosphere await them.

Arco orchestra and famous singers: Cezanne Yzelle and Arend Brink Jr will perform numerous favorites. The program for the first half of the evening is composed of popular songs and after that the audience is invited to sing along to their favorite Christmas carols.

Some of the songs that Arco and singers will perform during the first half include: popular theme music from movies like Mamma Mia, Lion King and Top Gun. Popular songs that will feature are the likes of Despacito, Your Man, Perfect, African Dream, Il Mondo and some Afrikaans songs including Neem my op vlerke and Sally Williams Nougat.

The members of Arco are: Arend Brink (cello), Johann van Deventer (bass guitar), Petrus van Wyk (acoustic and electric guitar), Arend Brink Jr (vocalist and drums) and Debbie Brink (piano/keyboard), Wikus van Zyl (violin) and Andries Mostert (saxophone)
