Meditation to Let Go of Anxiety
Topic : Making Friends with Your Mind
Join a class and learn how to meditate. This series will be learning how to meditate and let go of anxiety and worry.
The meditation class will be presented in a way that is accessible to everyone, and no religious obligation is required.

What to expect at a class:
Be guided in a short breathing meditation and connect to an experience of inner peace. No prior experience is necessary.
Every week the teachings explore one aspect of Dharma, or Buddha’s teachings, which focus on solutions to problems in daily life, inducing genuine optimism and increased happiness.
At the end of the class, we conclude with a meditation based on the teaching that was given during the class.
“The real source of happiness is inner peace. If our mind is peaceful, we will be happy all the time, regardless of external conditions, but if it is disturbed or troubled in any way, we will never be happy, no matter how good our external conditions may be. External conditions can only make us happy if our mind is peaceful. We can understand this through our own experience. For instance, even if we are in the most beautiful surroundings and have everything we need, the moment we get angry any happiness we may have disappears.
