It was a precipitous moment for us all when at age 3 she was the only child who was requested to sing a solo, as Mother Mary, in front of a fairly large crowd at the ‘Happy Faces’ end of year Nursery school concert. Her confidence and crystal clear voice, blew us all away.
A year later at St Cyprian's School in the woods, she independently elected to go and tell the Principal that she is a singer and can sing the main part. Thankfully she was given a chance, because the next thing, there she was on stage again, solo singing the main part.
