The Wishing Well

ABOUT

When Lotte accidentally wishes for the fairies to take her brother away, she stumbles into an old wishing well and discovers a secret fairytale world. Now on a quest to find her younger brother, Lotte must rely on her own wits to navigate a dark forest full of wonder, danger, and magic - as if her favourite storybooks have come to life.

Inspired by library storytime and kamishibai theatre, this puppetry production celebrates the importance and joy of stories and books - right in time for Booktober. 

Wanneer Lotte perongeluk wens dat die feetjies haar boetie wegneem, val sy binne ‘n ou wensput en ontdek ‘n geheimsinnige sprokieswêreld. Op die soektog om haar boetie te vind, moet Lotte haar eie vernuf gebruik om die donker woude vol wonder, gevaar en towerkuns te navigeer – dis asof haar gunsteling storieboeke lewendig geraak het.

Geïnspireer deur biblioteek storievoorlesings en kamishibai teater, vier hierdie toneelpoppeproduksie die plesier en belangrikheid van stories en boeke – net betyds vir Boektober.
