ABOUT

STICKERS Concert is a music lover’s collective that showcases amazing artists from SA to the world.

On Saturday 13 November 2021, STICKERS is bringing you an exquisite array of artists inclusive of the showcasing of two bands!

The line-up is exciting and inclusive of:

IzangoMa

A two-man band duo from Pretoria, that consists of the charismatic guitarist Sibusile Xaba and the extremely talented Dj AshK. Xaba & AshK feature a 15-piece ensemble to articulate the sound that gives IzangoMa its unique signature. The ensemble encompasses a heavy four piece African drum section laying down impeccable grooves, along with a ferocious horn section playing counter lines of big bands, not forgetting the groovy bass line that takes a futuristic leap in groove and the guitar's poly rhyme playing approach immediately has one floating sound.

Together with the soothing angelic voices of the backing vocals accompanied by sound scapes of AshK, the music becomes a window looking into the unknown. Xaba leads the ensemble with his chanting voice, and his harmonic approach on the keyboard enables the music to be never stagnant but always evolving and taking new directions sonically. The complete ensemble consists of amazing musicians from Mozambique, Ghana and South Africa giving the sound of the music/ensemble a unique texture.
