Why Donate to Hamba Bamba Funda

Hamba Bamba Funda supports and enables the active involvement of parents and caregivers in building strong foundations for the psychologically, cognitive and social development of their children between birth and pre-school age.

The mission to help break the trauma cycle of poverty that often deprives children and communities in underdeveloped areas.

HBF has rolled out a 7-month Pilot project that is carefully structured and in the process of being approved by SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority of South Africa). This program will enable caregivers to be trained, qualified and employed in this field. The project seeks to establish a safe and stable foundation for the babies’ development in line with Early Childhood milestones. While doing so, it also empowers young mothers to find their own potential and build up their personal and parenting confidence.
