"Tools to get Back to Basics."

We are all on individual journeys, we have taken different paths up the metaphorical mountain and all of them were the right ones for us, bringing us to where we are now. Join us and come share your own journey, let's all be beginners again.

This year boasts with Liza and Lynn's Aroma Workshop, A new Forest Communication Workshop! Learn to identify and connect to different trees and their different gifts. Stunning Hand-poke tattoos by Helen will be on offer this year. The other Helen is hosting a Mandala Creative Meditation Workshop. Riona is back with Reiki, Sound Healing and Weaving & Art Expression Workshops. Dianne from Thrive will be making devine food again, and this year you can book in advance and pre-pay meals too! Di has extensive knowledge about plants, cycles and uses; she will also be hosting a Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) walk for us. We'll also have The Root Den here with devine Roti's!

Palo is back with more meditations, Interactive conversation and exploratory debate. Mike has expanded and honed his skills. He will be offering breathwork, QiGong and TaiQi as well as a Moving meditation. Amanda will be doing two Ixcacao ceremonies and is planning a whole day of offerings at her new Healing space.

Riette will be aiding us in finding, connecting and communicating with our Inner Child. Wendy bringing us Hatha Yoga and Relaxing Yoga Nidra. And of course, Miki will be bringing us Face Yoga, Stretch for Life, Meditations, Body Awareness, Laughter and The Dance of the Dragon.

What is a Yoga Festival?

This Festival took on a new shape after 2021 HBYF. Focusing on the meaning of the word YOGA, rather than our association to it. Yoga means union and we invite you as yogi, TaiChi or QiGong practitioner, Teacher, Student, Human, Soul, Husband, Wife, parent or sibling to come and not only unite your own body, mind and breath; but to come unite with an amazing community.

Imagine that feeling you have after an amazing yoga class... now intensify, multiply and magnify that feeling! Add like-minded individuals, sprinkle some mountain magic all over them and voila! AND if all of that wasn't enough, we also have Soul-Sweat, Workshops, Dances, Music, Entertainment and Markets!

Our 2nd HBYF promises more teachers, styles and modalities. Also, we have CAMP sites now!!! Be right here, in nature, in yourself and just breathe! (Limited, Book ASAP @ R150pd)

Why come to The HOGSBACK YOGA Festival?

Did I mention the Mountain Magic? Hogsback is Nature at it's best! One of the oldest forests, beautiful waterfalls and as close to Nature as you can be, short of becoming a tree yourself.

This community has so much to offer and incredible souls who are all capable of changing lives. OH!!! And yoga of course!!! Different Teachers, styles and levels of emersion! A suitable class for ALL age groups, levels, religions and body types!

What to Bring?

Warm clothes and all other personal requirements such an boots, toiletries, undies etc.

Your yoga mat (there will be 5 or 6 spares only)

A friend or family member! This experience is too magical to NOT share
