ABOUT

The concept of mindfulness has become a real buzzword in today’s world. More and more people are talking about the benefits, seeing the results and trying to incorporate it into their daily lives, whether on a social or personal level. Therefore, it would make perfect sense to incorporate it into the classroom so that children and educators can begin to reap the benefits that accompany mindfulness.

This workshop will provide you with both the knowledge and tools on how to begin incorporating it into the classroom in order to create a more calm, productive and enjoyable learning space. Equipped with these skill sets, educators will feel more empowered, which will translate into learners feeling more at ease and ultimately allow for a better learning experience.

In the workshop we will define exactly what “Mindfulness” means, the benefits of mindfulness, how to measure the implementation of mindfulness practises (i.e. learner class engagement, learner attention span, stress/anxiety management, work output etc.) as well as explore simple, yet profound activities to start incorporating into the classroom. There is no better way to learn than to practice, so be prepared for some short mindfulness activities by making sure you have a quiet space for the webinar.

Let the journey to a more mindful classroom begin!
