During this 40 minute video workshop Natasha Viljoen will demonstrate and teach you a technique for making a small vessel using the coiling method. This technique is a valuable tool in the potters handbook and can be applied to a variety of items and makes in ceramics.


Natasha great love for creativity and nature and their merging in the process of pottery makes for an amazing process to learn from. Being a 3rd generation potter, she is following in her grandmother, Valerie and mother, Lissa Claassens' footsteps. Natasha opened The ClayHands Studio in April of 2018 after many years of working and learning at EarthPlay Studio.

ABOUT NATASHA VILJOEN

Natasha Viljoen has a great love for creativity and nature and their merging in the process of pottery.


She is a 3rd generation Cape Town potter, following in the clay path set by her late grandmother, Valerie and mother, Lissa Claassens.


The Clay Hands Studio was opened in April 2018 after years of working and training at Earth Play Studio.


Natasha is dedicated to holding, growing and maintaining the Clay Hands space and is deeply invested in supporting the innate creativity in others through offering studio space for people to learn the skills involved in working with clay.
