Kosmic Natives and The Grind Radio Present 'Native Futurism' Halloween Screening.

Created to spotlight quality indie African futurism films + musicians + spoken word artists.

The festival is here to spotlight Quality Pan African Culture and is unique in such a way that it is a platform that opens up opportunities for visibility, circulation of the rand, that also offers independent filmmakers, musicians the platform and financial support they need. 

Tickets: R300 (Drink and pop corn included)

Proceeds of the ticket sales go towards a fund aimed to support Indie South African creatives ideas.

• Gang 888, Synopsis: At the end of their tether, five Black lesbians walk a dangerous road of revenge and retribution against toxic masculinity.
• Goatville Web-series Synopsis: Goatville follows the awkward experiences and racy tribulations of 4 modern-day South African friends.
• QUEER IS - a short film that captures all that Queerness Is, written, shot and created by Queer People and played by Queer People for Queer People.

09:00pm - 09:10pm - 'Gang 888' At the end of their tether, five Black lesbians walk a dangerous road of revenge and retribution against toxic masculinity.

09:15pm-09:20pm - 'Aba'Lele' A short film based on a true story and popular South African folklore, this short film, set in uMlazi township, Durban, follows him as he navigates the series of events that follow soon after he discovers the truth about the woman he picked up.
