Rivière Rassemblement is a conscious gathering that feeds the mind, body, and soul while rooted in the electronic music scene. It’s a celebration of community, music, art and culture in a fellowship that is increasingly looking within for happiness and fulfilment in the non-material.

Set & Setting:

We believe that set & setting are some of the most fundamental aspects of intention, gathering and practice. The reverends of Rivière Rassemblement have discovered an untouched miracle just 2 hours from Cape Town’s central business district.

The three-day, open-air gathering will take place on the romantic riverbanks of Rivière Rassemblement lush fields.

Age Limitation:

Rivière Rassemblement aspires to create a space for individuals searching for something different. Our gathering is not a festival although it will encompass party elements, because of this a strict age limit will be implemented. This is a 23+ event.

Activities & Entertainment:

The objective of Rivière Rassemblement is reconnection by learning, growing & exploring. Expand your mind through our talks, workshops, activities with local visionaries, experts & thought leaders or experience a new practice in one of our hands-on morning workshops.

The flow of the festival is set with a downtempo Friday afternoon and a connecting evening of music which runs until midnight when the firepits of conversations are started. Workshops kick off Saturday morning with talks beginning at brunch time. Low energy music is kicked off around midday whilst revellers are encouraged to partake in enjoying the waters of Rivière Rassemblement on floating devices until we pick things up for a propper razzle-dazzle that runs until late into the night.

Sunday’s breakfast beats are set to be the perfect integration into the outside world and soundtrack to the last booty-shaking of the weekend.

Music:

What you can come to expect from our music experience is a well-thought-out aural journey encompassing downtempo, minimal, house, afro, melodic-techno & techno while not being pigeonholed to a specific genre grouping.

Curating groovy, booty-shaking tunes throughout the weekend whilst not pushing frequencies & speeds that could leave revellers exhausted after our weekend-long excursion.

Please note that we do not release the weekend’s music entertainment lineup to the public; it is strictly shared with beings who have booked their spot via email communication the week before our gathering.

Talks:

The contradiction of living in the information age yet being so inherently disconnected from a community has never been this tangible. Join our thought leaders in discussing several issues and talking points to better our understanding of the complex topics of humankind and the challenges we face to make it a better life for all beings.

Workshops:

Become present in your flesh vessel by putting your body in motion under the guidance of our workshop leaders for guided group meditation, breathwork, yoga & other embodiment workshops. The Saturday morning workshops form an integral part of the Rivière Rassemblement weekend; we would like to encourage all revellers to participate in one workshop that doesn’t form part of your typical rituals or activities.

From traditional practices to the wildly unconventional and fun, you’re sure to leave feeling good in your mind, body, and soul.

Camping & Accommodation:

Our camping weekend alongside the riverbanks of Rivière Rassemblement allows each ticket holder access to our camping grounds. All campsites have lush grass where tented accommodation can be set up. The majority of revellers will be able to access the shaded tree areas, but the reservation thereof is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Although there will be ample camping space available, we would like to request each attendee to be conscious about the space they hold & consider the impact that your footprint might have on a fellow reveller. Tent sharing is encouraged as much as possible. You are required to bring campsite lighting; fairy lights are a true favourite and an easy way to enchant yourself into the magic of a gathering like this.

Much like our shaded areas & accessibility thereof, our river view campsites have access to a fireplace & power connection.

Despite the possibility of power & mobile connectivity, we would like to encourage revellers to abstain from digital connection and be present with themselves, on the dancefloor, during activities & with those around you.
