West Coast AC Virtual Charity Challenge 2021

• Entries close at midday on 29 August. This is halfway through the second day of the event, to give the late-risers the chance to enter and participate.
• Enter either the 10km or the 21km for R50 each, or enter BOTH the 10km AND the 21km for R80.
• All finishers qualify for a medal. There are different medals for the 10km and 21km. If you enter and complete both distances you will get both medals.
• As this is a charity event, R10 from each entry will be donated to our two nominated charities. Entrants will also have the option to donate an additional amount during the entry process, if desired.
• An optional event buff can also be purchased for R80.
• Your selected distance(s) must be completed on 28 & 29 August. Results must be submitted via a Google Form (link will be shared at the time) or Whatsapp by 10pm on Sunday 29^th. You will have the option to submit a screenshot or link from your GPS device to verify your time and distance, but this is not compulsory, we trust your honesty. Cheaters only cheat themselves. There are NO performance or "podium" prizes.
• Only those who submit finish times will qualify for the lucky draw. The draw will take place on Tuesday 31 August at the West Coast AC club after club time trials. Winners do not need to be present and will be notified, prizes can be collected with medals and buffs. Prizes will be confirmed closer to the time, they will be awesome!
• Medals, buffs & prizes will be available for collection on Sat. 4 Sept at a single venue (venue TBC). If you are unable to arrange collection, please contact Justin to make alternate arrangements.
• As this is a virtual event, you may participate anywhere. Participants are responsible for your own safety and for adhering to lockdown legislations and relevant traffic rules and municipal bylaws. Plan your route, don’t run alone and don’t run in unsafe locations. You participate at your own risk!
