ABOUT

Proverbs 22:6 says: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

What does this mean for Christian homeschooling parents and how do they implement it in their day to day raising of their children? Because for many of us we know that it take more than a Christian homeschooling curriculum to raise young Christians.

Most Christian parents do not start homeschooling purely for their children's academic success, but also to sow seeds which hopefully bear fruit one day when the child chooses to seek an intimate and authentic Bible based relationship with God. But, even "perfect" Christian homeschooling does not prevent prodigal children and parents who pray do not always see the results they hoped for.

We are very excited to have two guests join us this month - two long term Christian homeschooling moms with much value to add on the topic. Linda and Nadene will bring their gentle approach to Christian parenting to the discussion so that you can store up tips for when you get there.

In this livestream, we will talk about:

  1. What is the parent's responsibility, and what isn't with regards to Christian home education
  2. How to disciple our children in grace and love
  3. How modelling the Christian life teaches more than curriculum
  4. How we can model the surrendered life for our children
  5. How we as moms can allow how God parent's us to parent our children.
  6. What Christian home education resources are on offer

We will also talk about some challenges:

  1. How parents can sabotage their children's free will
  2. How complexities of different families (single parents, unsaved partner, blended families) affect our children
  3. When a Christian mom feels like a failure in raising children that don't want to be Christians
  4. How to equip your children for suffering and to prepare them for the reality fo sin and evil in this world.

Join us! You will have your cup filled to overflowing.
