The African Investigative Journalism Conference (AIJC) celebrates and promotes the continent’s investigative reporting. This year the conference will be a hybrid (online and face-to-face) event run out of five cities simultaneously.
Organised by the Wits Centre for Journalism of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University) in Johannesburg, South Africa, this is the 17th year of the event.
The full conference fee package includes access to all Keynotes, panels, workshops and training sessions. It also includes the "Carlos Cardoso Memorial Lecture", the Africa Check Awards and Master Classes from some of the leading forensic journalists from around the world.
