St James Peak Pilgrimage
Sun Jul 25, 07:30 - Sun Jul 25, 11:30
Bailey's Kloof
ABOUT
At sunrise we set off hiking up Bailey’s Kloof, aiming for the summit of St James Peak to enjoy a morning coffee on what is the Feast Day of St James. Along the journey we will pass beautiful rock formations, caves and a dolmen known as Stonehenge. The veld is still beautifully young and we hope to see some of the winter fynbos gems such as Disperis capensis, the little purple Moederkappie orchid. Lovely views over False Bay dominate this circular route!
