ABOUT

Sacred Cacao Ceremony at the Shala

Join Lauren from Soul Sessions for a Sacred Cacao Ceremony at the Shala.

This celebration of self includes:

  • x2 doses of ceremonial Cacao
  • Guided intention setting
  • Breathwork
  • Meditation
  • Movement as well as
  • A crystal sound journey

Cacao is a powerful plant medicine and is not only high in antioxidants and other minerals but can also uplift your mood, raise your vibrations, open your heart and take you to expanded states of consciousness.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE CACAO CEREMONY

Everyone responds differently to Cacao. Try not to have too many expectations or judgements about your experience. Here are some guidelines to help you get the most benefits from this sacred plant:

Drink lots of water throughout the day, even bring some with you. This helps to alleviate any strong detoxifying side effects of the Cacao.

Avoid dairy for the day - dairy lines the intestines and will reduce the uptake of the Cacao.

Avoid caffeine for the day - the combination of coffee and Cacao can be quite overstimulating.

Aim to have your last meal at least four to five hours before the ceremony so that you have a relatively empty stomach. This allows for faster absorption of the Cacao.

FOR THE SESSION

Please bring your yoga mat, along with and anything else you’d need to make your space comfortable and cosy for the sound session. This can include an eye mask/pillow/covering, blanket, pillow for under your head and/or knees. Optional: We also invite you to bring along anything special to make your space sacred such as crystals, flowers or pictures.

*We also have yoga mats available at the Shala, should you not have your own ;-)

COST

R420 per person. Book by 25 June and only pay R380.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Shala for this experience.
