Mr. Mosotho's housing aid

About

Hey everyone, this is a campaign presented on behalf of Mr. Jeffrey Mosotho. Mr. Mosotho is a displaced individual who has spent most of his life trying to create better circumstances for his family and help put food on the table but failed to do so as he reached the city and fell victim to circumstances of bad company. He arrived in Serala View back in the early 2000's with the aim of finding a job, which he did and, he settled in quite comfortably in the backroom he had rented. Everything had been going well until back in 2008 when he was retrenched from work and would not leave with any benefits as a blue collar working individual. After months of unemployment, depression took its toll on him as friends introduced him to drugs that would make him "feel better", and he made a decision he dearly regrets. He fell into the world of substances and even though he was able to recover, it took a huge toll on his mental health, physically and also mentally as he was kicked out and had to find refuge in an incomplete building with no windows nor coverings(meaning it is very cold this time of the year, especially without electricity) as he could not afford a place to stay anymore and his family eventually stopped communicating with him.

With a bit of his backstory, may you please find it in your heart to please leave a small donation to help us build up to a successful fundraiser : ). We would greatly appreciate it as the money will be going towards getting Mr. Mosotho a few essentials like: a grooming kit so he can take care of his appearance as he wishes, tin perishables which he can store for long periods of time, a few blankets for him and his housemates, buckets with water and oil for their personal use, firewood for cooking as they do not have electricity, hot water bottles, fresh fruits and vegetables, plant seeds so he can grow his own, etc.(it will depend on how much is raised and the support is greatly appreciated). Thank you for taking your time to read his story, it honestly means a lot.
