A one day workshop to make sense of the Stock Market and all that 'investing jargon'. Learn how to invest and where to put your money safely for the best returns. It's never been so easy.. or so important... to have a plan for your financial future. We will show you the basics in simple, easy to understand language, and give you a strategy that you can apply immediately to start making your money work for you.

If you have 15 minutes a month and about an hour a year, that’s all the time you will need once your portfolio has been set up!

You will learn how to evaluate and find 'good' companies if you want to invest in equities, but the system I will show you is designed for people who don’t have time to ‘play’ or ‘trade’ on the stock market. Find out about index tracker funds or Electronically Traded Funds (ETF's) – and why all the top investors recommend these as the best option for consistent growth with minimal risk over time. You will download Easy Equities (an online brokerage app) on your phone before the workshop and we will create a portfolio for you on the day. If you have R300 or more that you can invest monthly, you will set up an auto monthly payment into the ETF’s to do the work for you. I will show you exactly which ETF’s to choose so you can get started with a balanced, diversified portfolio. 

It’s best if you ‘set it and forget it’, so it is ideal if you don’t want to spend time daily or weekly on investing!! You will understand why and how on the course. I will also cover investing in equities (individual companies) and how to find those that will grow in value – you can potentially get a much higher ROI (return on your investment) here, but it takes more time. If you learn some keys on evaluating companies and spend about an hour a week, you can expect a higher return (my whole portfolio is currently up 33% over the last year and I have sold some shares at 48%, 82%, 124% ROI to reinvest). I’m having fun with it & excited to share info I've learned from numerous investing courses, over a dozen books, hundreds of podcasts and my own mistakes!

Now is the best time for you to start putting a bit away each month for your future. Delaying even a year will ‘cost’ you tens of thousands over 20 years of potential investments. I wish I had known about this 10 years ago, when becoming your own portfolio manager started becoming easier.
