Unisa Virtual Jazz Festival 2021

The Unisa Music Foundation is proud to host the Unisa Virtual Jazz Festival 2021.

This landmark event will feature some of Gauteng’s premier jazz artists in a two and a half hour jazz festival that was recorded live at the ZK Matthews Great Hall on the Unisa Muckleneuk campus in Pretoria.

The festival features some of Gauteng and South Africa’s most prominent artists including: Concord Nkabinde and Friends, the Bokani Dyer Trio, Thamie Mahlangu Quintet, Vuma Levin, Sydney Mavundla, Ntando Ngcapu, the Endangered Horns Ensemble with Karen Devroop, McCoy Mrubata, Linda Sikhakhane and Thamie Mahlangu.

The festival will also feature the Unisa Big Band, one of South Africa’s preeminent jazz big bands featuring a host of artists.
